I had installed loan applications named Trustroot and Smartrupiya from the Play Store, just to check and know about loan services. As part of the application process, I entered my bank details. After that, money started getting credited to my bank account continuously from different accounts, without my request.
In the applications, it was shown that I must repay more than double the credited amount within 6 days. Today is the 5th day, and I have been receiving continuous calls and messages from different numbers, including WhatsApp, targeting not only me but also my family and friends. They are sending abusive, threatening, and blackmailing messages, even using nude/obscene content to harass me.
Although I have already repaid them 3 times the mentioned amount (over ₹47,000), they are still calling, messaging, and harassing me to pay more. They also have access to my Aadhaar card, PAN card, and contact details, which they are misusing.
When I checked about these applications, I found that they are not registered with RBI, not following any government rules, and these loan details are not even showing in my CIBIL report as proof. This clearly indicates that they are running an illegal money scam.
I request that:
The harassment, blackmailing, and threats must stop immediately.
My personal details (Aadhaar, PAN, contacts) must be protected from misuse.
I should get back the money I already paid (₹47,000+).
Strict action should be taken against these applications and their operators, as they are scammers and violating RBI regulations.
