Downloaded Smart Rupiya app one week before from the date 08/12/2025. After giving access to my personal data such as a photo and my Income ID the account said that I have loan status is successful without debiting the money in my account. It also reflected that I need to repay Rs. 4000. Later, on Dec 8th morning I received threatening messages without knowing it’s from the app I deleted it thinking it’s a spam. I received the similar threatening messages around 10 AM the same day. The suspect kept on threatening me with my personal contacts and blackmailed me with releasing an obscene photograph to all my contacts including my parents. I finally blocked the contact.
