I have enough balance in my Airtel mobile, but I got a msg as outgoing is expired, but while I bought the SIM card, they promoted the sim as lifetime validity SIM card. I don’t understand how a lifetime validity SIM card’s outgoing expires. To recharge for validity, they have asked to dial *121*51#, but I couldn’t find any option for validity recharge. Please take necessary action to stop this Airtel fraud. The case is same with my sister’s SIM card also, both SIM cards were bought at different times, but outgoing expires same time, no idea how it happened. I hope they are trying to raise fund using this expiry fraud. Please take action.

  1. From last one month I was not doing any recharge on my Airtel number. As it was said that the SIM Card has life time validity but on 07 Nov 2018 my Outgoing call validity is expired & showing that incoming call be also be stopped from 22 Nov 2018. Yesterday I was trying to recharge but on every recharge it was showing that,”this offer is not available at your number”. Hardly Rs 10 recharge done & then Validity shown up to that day i.e. 15.Nov 2018. I didn’t use my balance yet on the next day outgoing validity expired. What a fraud company is Airtel! When I am trying to call customer care executive, there is no option to talk and ask the solutions.I don’t understand how a lifetime validity SIM card’s outgoing expires. To recharge for validity. Please take necessary action to stop this Airtel fraud. I hope they are trying to raise fund using this expiry fraud. Please take action.

  2. Same here for Kolkata Airtel. Its like old (15 years ago) time. Recharge and validity comes at same time.

    Vodafone and Airtel lost their mind. I have recharged 35 on Aitrlel though. And planing to port to Jio soon.

    The complain is: When a provider sales a SIM saying lifetime validity, how they can reduce it suddenly.

  3. Airtel has lost control of its minds by reducing suddenly the validity of sim card. They had sold it promoting it as lifetime card and several times I’ve seen my validity to be upto 2025. They’ve just cut off the signal too. This is so unbecoming of the company like Airtel.

  6. this is cheating customers who were using sim having lifetime validity. Specially think about those village population & old age people who mostly use mobiles for incoming purposes only.

  7. I have a lifetime outgoing validity in my airtel sim then why did they suddenly expired the outgoing service that too without informing, i haven’t received any notification from them

  8. same happened with me .. but the think is why do we need to put monthly pack and use it .. if necessary we have to recharge and use it otherwise its our wish to use it and recharge it.. when they said life time then y the hell they changed it..
