Yesterday evening I got disturbing calls from friends and relatives that they got WhatsApp messages stating that I committed Theft/fraud.
Below is a copy of the message:

N.B. CALL THE PERSON IN THIS REPORT TO REMOVE/DETACH YOUR DETAILS FROM THE ONLINE REGISTRATION HE DID WITH DELOAN COMPANY LIMITED, AS THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS HE SIGNED AND ACCEPTED CLAIMED THAT YOU RELATIVES/FRIENDS KNOWS ABOUT THIS INCIDENT.
FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS ARE ONGOING AS THIS PERSON/INCIDENT REMAINS A SUSPECTED FRAUD. YOU MAY ALSO RECEIVE A CALL TO VISIT OUR OFFICE IF ALL INVESTIGATIONS FINDS HIS GUILTY OF THIS CRIME. YOU MAY BE VICTIM IF YOUR DETAILS ARE NOT DETACHED FROM THE ONLINE REGISTRATION
