Lenovo sent a defective laptop, no response from customer support, refund was promised but not yet provided

I have ordered a Lenovo Legion 5 AMD R7 4800, from the Lenovo official website. It came with a dead GPU. Means, the NVIDIA 1650Ti was faulty and not getting detected at all. In the BIOS, when I select Discrete Graphics (NVIDIA), the whole screen gives a garbage display with dead pixels all over the screen. I ran with Switchable Graphics, which works only with the AMD integrated graphics. The issue is same on the BIOS and Safe Mode screens, which clearly means it is a hardware issue.

I have made numerous calls, sent end number of emails requesting for an update, no help and update received. I have also asked them to escalate the issue with the management, they did not do it at all. They kept making false promises. They also stopped replying to my emails. 2/5 times I call them, they disconnect my call and don’t call me back.
Today is the 21st Jul; 13 days passed from the date of delivery and issue, and yet no update from the so called “”PREMIUM SUPPORT TEAM”.

I am sick and tired of this. I have brought this laptop for my office work purpose and I am unable to work at all. My office paid leaves are getting wasted and my manager is drilling me every single day due to this. I am on the verge of losing my job.

I have brought this laptop on credit card EMI, which I am going to get billed starting this month. The laptop is simply sitting as a dead body inside a DOA packet and I am not getting any help from anyone.

I was told by senior customer support person – Sanjeeb Pradhan3 <spradhan3@lenovo.com> that I will be getting the DOA certificate and the refund within 4-5 working days. I have sent them all the pics they asked for, laptop pics, box pics, DOA bag pics, every damn thing. They did not care to do anything on my case.

I am in a serious trouble now after trusting Lenovo. BIGGEST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE.

I will be going to the Consumer Court tomorrow and report this. All I want is my refund so that I can purchase another laptop and start working. Its my hard earned money and you Lenovo guys cannot play with it.
