I am Ibbu, I brought Lenovo Legion 5-15ARH05[serial no:- PF36KWY3] and got 1 year of warranty and I facing battery heating and shift button problem, so I took service request on Dec2022 for battery and shift key for not working correctly, So the shift key problem was solved but battery service was ignored just seeing health metrics report of laptop.

In Jan 2023 the warranty expired, on Fed 2023 I bought an extended warranty, last month I observed the swelling from the backside of the laptop, If incase I didn’t found it means it was going to burst. So I applied for service and asked for an Old service report. Then after seeing old service report I came to know that there is no report on battery service on Dec2022 they just closed the ticket without service. If they see the condition of the battery by removing it the problem may be found at that time.

So I am asking them to cancel my newly purchased warranty and they mention it cannot be done. It was no return thing, so what is the use of “ useless warranty” that they perform useless service on past and forcing me to use, Lenovo ultimate support team now telling if the swelling was battery problem it cannot be comes in extended warranty but I am facing problem from past months and given it for service in-time and as well as backside damaged part also not covered they mentioned , the damaged part only covered in “accidental damage protection” but while buying warranty it is showing the service can be done on “ Onsite repair, at your location 24/7 availability, through phone, chat and email Know-how around gaming titles, trends and communities Help with setting and tuning, for better gaming performance Support for hardware, software and accessories and [This machine is entitled to Legion Ultimate Support service including prioritized parts and labor with any required work performed at the customer location. Service is started and ended with the term of contract.] “

So I want to cancel my new warranty and the Lenovo people need to do Service of my laptop so they faked me it was done. I am attaching the report of the old service there. You cannot find any diagnosis report on battery, they just closed the ticket without any resolution.
