Text of Complaint by G Tamilarasan:

Dear Sir/Madam,

I,Mr.Gopalan Tamilarasan , am writing to formally bring to your attention a grievance regarding the significant deficiency of services by Jio Airfibre, which has caused me considerable inconvenience and financial loss. The details of the issue are as follows:

Date of Booking and Deposit: On July 3, 2024, I made a deposit of Rs. 1000 (JioAirFiber Booking No. LR000008P90Z with Transaction ID : 20240703210560000015222494779347371. ) for the installation of a Jio Airfibre connection. Subsequently, on July 5, 2024, after completion video KYC by your sintallation engnieer at my premises I paid Rs. 2120.46 ( Order No : NO00011ML12) towards three months’ advance rental after your engineer’s promise and technical check of feasibility.

Promise of Installation: Your executive assured me that the connection would be installed within 24 to 48 hours from the date of booking. Additionally, on July 5, 2024, the executive promised that the installation would be completed within half an hour of receiving the advance rental payment.

Reason for Delay and Communication: Despite these assurances, the installation has not been completed, even after 7 days. I have made numerous calls to your marketing executives who took the booking, contacted customer care multiple times, and sent emails to appellate authorities, but there has been no communication regarding the reason for the delay or your company’s position on the installation.

Impact on Family: The lack of internet connectivity has caused significant inconvenience, especially for my children who require online resources for their education. They are facing difficulties in accessing online reading materials.

The false commitments made by your company have led to mental agony and financial losses due to the poor connectivity and my inability to opt for another service provider.

Given the circumstances, I demand the following:

Immediate installation of the Jio Airfibre connection without any further delay.
Compensation of Rs. 1,00,000 (One Lakh Rupees) for the mental agony and financial losses incurred due to the delay and false commitments made by your company.

If these demands are not met within 15 days of receiving this notice, I will be compelled to initiate legal proceedings against your company for deficiency in service under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

Please treat this notice with the utmost urgency and seriousness to avoid any further legal complications.
