On 5 January 2024 through online platform I applied for a online data entry job through which learn and earn company contacted me through whatsapp they told me registration is for free and I don’t have to pay any amount they sent me an agreement I provided them with my details and signature in the agreement with my selfie photo, without properly addressing the terms mentioned , but due to some unforseen circumstances I had to withdraw from taking on the job so I sent a cancelation email now they called me 7 days later and told me that even if I do the job or I discontinue the same day I have to pay 5999 + 18% gst amount to them and when I didn’t pay they called me by blackmailing that they filed a complaint against me and i have no choice but to pay the 7079/- amount I didn’t know what to do in that situation now I’m afraid they will again call me to pay money again .
