Dear Sir,
The complaint is regarding irregular KYC practices these new age companies are adopting. In the given case, I got a mail from Rummy Circle that my KYC was successfully completed when I have never installed their app and also not given them any documents or authentication via OTP.
5 days back, I had received a mail from them stating that my KYC has been successfully updated. I had sent them a mail clearly stating that I have never uploaded any document and also asked them basis which document has been my KYC updated.
But till date, there has been no response from their side. Requesting the authorities to take strict action against them for
1. Spamming people repeatedly to indulge in betting without their consent
2. Irregular KYC policy – If my KYC was done without even a OTP or any document upload from my side, it’s a big red flag on how these companies are functioning. Also it’s a serious offence in my opinion as after getting repeated email from the customer also, they have not yet reverted on the core issue. Data Privacy has become a joke with these companies around us.
