Text of Complaint by Rahul Dalal:

I would like to file a complaint over a refund that was promised but never received. I was traveling with my friends on 23 april  and we decided to eat at KFC kukrola, Haryana. When we reached the restaurant i placed an order through KFC app and somehow the app itself selected a location far from me. The app selected the wrong location because we passed it a few kilometers back and we checked the location and there was no kfc outlet as far as we know .The location was far from me so i decided to cancel the order by calling KFCcustomer care number. I was promised a refund in 12 working days. And it has been well over a month and i still haven’t received my money back. 
I contacted customer care many times and no one was of any help. They kept on forwarding my calls to other outlets and one guy gave me a number of another guy – Ved Prakash who works at KFC ground floor, new town square sector 95-A. He asked for all the proof and i sent it to him over a WhatsApp chat that’ll I’ll attach a screenshot of below. I contacted him on may 2nd  and he said it’ll be processed in 12 DAYS yes again. Once he checks if i made the payment among other things. He said he was on holiday and has evening shift and he’ll contact me once he starts his shift (only an excuse ). And i haven’t heard from him since. I called him 4-5 times he didn’t pick my call or answer my text. Today on May 30 i called him. He picked up and repeated the same thing  that he’s on holiday  and will go tomorrow evening. What is this arrogant behaviour for a corporate employee, no helpfulness whatsoever. It’s a simple thing
I paid for something bcz i was not aware of the location and I informed and cancelled the order myself. The i ordered again at the location i was present on in person for which i paid again. How long does it takes to process a refund for something i didn’t get. 

Key Points To make it easy to understand what im saying – 
1 – i visited kfc kukrola on 23 april

2 – i placed an order from your app i was at KFC KUKROLA at that time 

3 – app asked for my location to select the outlet

4 – the app selected a location i passed by 10 kilometres back that was KFC NEW TOWN SQUARE SECTOR 95-A

(i wasn’t present at that location when i placed the order)

5 – WE CHECKED THE PLACE thoroughly and couldn’t find any KFC outlet at sector 95-A gurgaon  thats why we moved onto KFC Kukrola (Location – https://goo.gl/maps/oZWZ6gJ7yDLCugJj9?coh=178571&entry=tt)

6 – then i informed KFC customer care to cancel the order bcz the app made a mistake. They promised a refund.

7 – haven’t received any refund yet

  1. The same thing happened to me on May with KFC Visakhapatnam. I ordered food on KFC website and they told me that the order would not be delivered since the delivery address is far away. It’s 20 July now and I still haven’t received my money.

    The call centre is unhelpful, and so are the staff in the KFC branch. I still keep contacting them and they don’t pick the call up and if they do, they keep repeating the same “It’s still being processed” or “Please call us in the evening” or “The manager has been replaced, we need time for things to settle down”.

    Never have I faced such unreliable and dishonest staff.
