a fraudulent scheme perpetrated in the name of KBC (Kaun Banega Crorepati). I was led to believe that I had won a lottery prize of 25 lakhs through my phone number in a raffle organized by KBC. As a result, I was requested to make a payment for alleged income tax obligations, and I was repeatedly asked to send money through various digital payment methods.
Unfortunately, I became a victim of this scam and sent a substantial sum of money to the perpetrators last Friday of this month through different shops using various UPI services. However, I later discovered that this scheme is a well-known fraud, and there is no legitimate lottery associated with it.
