Financial Fraud and Lack of Verification on Justdial
I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding a recent incident of financial fraud on Justdial platform. It has come to my attention that Justdial allows unverified phone numbers, leading to significant financial loss for unsuspecting users like myself.
On 07/06/2023, I contacted a fraudulent number listed on Justdial, assuming it to be legitimate. The person manipulated me into providing sensitive financial information and conducted unauthorized transactions, resulting in a considerable loss.
I urge Justdial to take immediate action by implementing strict verification processes, strengthening user safety protocols, enhancing reporting mechanisms, and providing compensation and support for victims. These steps are crucial to restore trust and prevent future incidents.
