Text of Complaint by priya rao:

i had applied for job on shine.com and got an offer call as selected candidate. paid amount of 27,000 in one UPI and 2 debit card transactions through their website. Later I called back and the number does not exist and neither the toll free number on website goes through.

I want my money back.

  1. These scamsters pick your cv from shine.com or other job portals and call you saying they have a guaranteed job and your cv perfectly matches with their client’s requirement. If you fall for their trap then they will ask you to pay registration fee online. Then the call will be transfers to Hr dept and they will again ask you to deposit verification fees. Never pay a single penny even if they say you will get this money after you get the job. You take job for earning money and not paying them.

  2. I just had same call from shine and quoted your complaint and they told they are going to refund the amount to you

    1. Is Shine.com liable for this loss .I too have been duped of 14000/- appx just yesterday .career rides.in is a fake company that picked up my resume and contact info from Shine.com . I have paid heavily for their premium services. They neither warned of these job scams nor apprised me of any fake recruiters who pick up our information from their website.
      They must be held accountable.
