On 3rd April, 2023, I received a message on WhatsApp implying:
“Dear (My Name)
I found your profile on *Jobhai*. I have a vacancy for:
*Data Entry Executive*
Company – Next Notion
Salary – ₹ 15,000/- per month
Location – Work from home
Duration – Part Time
Contact – 9354231204
Send your Resume/CV, if you want to apply”
So, as I was already searching for a job, I sent my CV to them then they provided me with a Zoom meeting link but on that same day after joining it at 5:00 pm (the meeting time given by them) they said it has been postponed and will happen next day. The next day (4th April, 2023) the same thing occurred; the meeting was postponed. And finally, on 5th April, 2023 the meeting happened in which they give the job description in which approximately 11 people were attending. They said that the company provides 80% Excel and 20% Word (Content Writing) work the working days are from Monday to Saturday and between 9:00 am to 10:00 am we will receive our work in our respective email ids which we need to complete it within 24 hours otherwise we will be marked absent. They did not disclose the security fee matter until someone asked whether we have to pay anything. The security fee was Rs. 499. I don’t know about others but I did a Google search about the company and don’t know why it was well-rated so I contacted my HR (the same person who texted me, and held a meeting) and asked how can I appear for the interview (only telephonic). He said he will provide a mobile number the day the interviewer will call. So on 7th April, 2023, he shared the number of the interviewer (+91 88001 63995; also shared in www.nextnotion.co.in site under contact section). I cracked the interview and I was very happy. The interview was also held professionally with smart and tricky questions. Then my HR shared the procedures:

Step 1. Send any Govt Approved I’d like Pan or Adhar and the company will provide you offer letter.
Step 2. Sign the Offer letter and send a Copy of that to the company.
Step 3. Deposit Security fee and take a screenshot of that and send to HR.
Step 4. Get Training Videos
Step 5. Start work from next day.

So the next day I completed all the procedures to join the company. They sent me the offer letter mentioning my joining date (10th April, 2023). Then they sent me a training video (https://youtu.be/a9vqUVVDNxg) from their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@nextnotion and then to send a demo article. I saw it and responded to them and the next day (9th April, 2023) they replied that my work will start the following day and I asked to send a demo article as promised before. And on 10th April, 2023, at 9:37 am, HR gave me two topics to write on about 1000 words each, and also sent me a demo article. And I completed my work at 6:45 pm and after that, I sent the files by 7:00 pm and saw that the last seen was at 6:15 pm. I thought that he may come online afterward and check it because we are supposed to submit it within 24 hours of the given project time. But in the morning also I saw the same last seen and my message was still undelivered. I was worried. 11:00 am passed but no text from the other end so I thought to contact my interviewer but he was also seen on the last day at 6:23 pm last! It leveled up my worries more. And from that day still today (13th April, 2023) I am trying to contact them in whatever ways possible but have not gotten any response. All of their numbers are switched off even the number through which I paid them is also unavailable! I am emailing them still not getting any response.
I implore you to ban these kinds of companies anymore to grow up and fooling people with fake promises. Please.
