Recently I applied for a data entry work from home job at Quikr jobs. After that, I got a call from a woman who offered me data entry job from home and asked for a photocopy of my aadhar and also asked for my personal email ID. Then, she asked me to wait for 30 minutes and then send me a login Id and password to login into their website. She then said to have a look at the legal agreement where it is said that they would provide me 700 forms which I have to complete in 6 days. They had four conditions in which told that I can’t submit blank forms. If I submit 2 blank forms, then my ID will be blocked. I have to pay 4000 to regenerate my ID. My work started in 31.08.2024. After two days of work, a pop-out on their website showed that I have submitted 2 blank forms and my ID is blocked. After seeing this, I informed the woman who gave me the job. She told me that she is contacting the technical team of the company Cross Country Live Work Pvt Ltd. After sometime a man called me saying that he is one from the technical team of the said company and told me that since I have submitted 2 blank forms, I have to pay 4000 within 20 minutes, otherwise my case will be handed over to the legal team who will then file a complaint against me at the Hyderabad court. After that, I have to visit there and pay 25000 for that. Since I didn’t wanted any kind of complications, I paid the 4000 to unblock my ID. After that, everything was going fine until yesterday morning, when I could not submit forms after inputting datas. I informed this to the woman and she told me that it is the problem of my local area network. I tried to get the work done by changing my location, but failed. I said this to her, but she said that I have to complete the work, inspite of this. I think this is a job scam by which this people loot money from people.
