Text of Complaint by Kamal Sharma:

I bought a Jiophone three years ago as part of Jio launch offer wherein it was mentioned that customers could return the phone after 3 years and get their money( 1500/-) back.
Last month,I approached the Jio center in Pune and requested that either the phone be returned and my amount refunded or I be given a new phone in exchange( Maybe Jiophone 2 after adjusting the refund amount).However the executive at the Jio center Mr. Hrishikesh very rudely told me that the company has not even completed 3 years and the return scheme has not yet been activated.He offered to repair the phone which I sadly accepted.
Now the phone is all dead.I have been asked to pay 450 rupees to get a swap phone while the battery of the existing phone will be used for the swap phone.
My concern here is that the phone is no longer working.Even the swap phone has warranty of 1 year.
As such, as I have already completed 3 years with Jio phone and am eligible for complete refund,kindly either refund me the money or issue me a new Jiophone 2( you can adjust the refund amount against the Phone’s cost and I will pay the remaining amount if any)
Kindly help me out here as I have been a loyal customer of Jio and would like to continue the relationship with the company.
