Thank you for giving me an opportunity to be an early customer for Jio GigaFiber. Based on my initial recommendations, there are others who have taken your connection as well.
I am writing this mail to complain about the bad experience in getting my refund of the initial deposit of Rs.4,500/-. I had raised an official request to disconnect my JioGigaFiber connection by end of March/early April 2019. Initially I was told that we are in the old stone age and that the refund would be only sent via a DD to the registered house address and this would take about 60 days! I have been chasing up multiple times and each time promised that this would happen by 1st week of June.
I then received a direct call from Abhishek (CC’d) on 1st week of June who requested for NEFT details so that the deposit of Rs.4,500/- can be directly transferred to my account. Please see mail below. Once my details had been shared, I have not received any updates on this whatsoever. I was asked to contact customer care. I tried calling 18008969999 from my registered mobile number (7760101883) as well as other numbers, but each time I am asked by the IVR to request for a new connection!!! I was able to reach customer care with ease previously using the same channels. I have also not received appropriate response from Abhishek on the status.
Kindly look into this matter. I regard Jio as a good brand but it is poor service like this that leads to customer dissatisfaction! I will be happy to discuss anything further.
