Dear Sir/Madam,
I have been a consumer of Postpaid Jio-Fiber (30mbps plan) for over 7 to 8 months. However, for the past 12-14 days, I have experienced extremely poor internet speed, averaging around 1mbps. I promptly raised a complaint regarding this issue, and technicians visited my location on five separate occasions to address the problem. Finally, today, the low internet speed issue was resolved.
Following the resolution of the issue, I requested compensation for the days when I had to endure the low-speed internet problem. To my dismay, I was informed that Jio-Fiber does not provide compensation in the form of a validity extension for low internet speed issues.
Therefore, I am writing to raise this concern with the respective higher authorities in order to seek a justified resolution. As a paying customer, I expect to receive the service I have fully paid for and believe that appropriate action should be taken in this regard.
I would also like to draw attention to the fact that although my Jio-Fiber plan is categorized as Postpaid, Jio seems to be misleading all the Indian customers by essentially providing a prepaid-like service structure where the Postpaid customer is bound to pay for the upcoming month’s bill in advance before even using the services. This, I believe, is in violation of TRAI guidelines. I have already raised this issue with Jio-Fiber customer care, but unfortunately, I received no positive response.
In conclusion, I have attached screenshots below to support my claims. I kindly request the higher authorities to review this matter and provide a satisfactory resolution.
