I have subscribed to Jio Fiber Connection in Dec 2019 and this was renewed for one year in Dec 2020 by paying full membership fee in advance. While purchasing the connection i was assured that relocation service is available and will be provided as and when required. On 24th March 2021, I called the customer requesting to relocation to a new address which was hardly 1km away from existing address and Jio had subscriber in both places. However  the customer care simply told me that my service request cannot be taken due to “Unavoidable technical circumstances”. Instead I can purchase a new Jio connection for the new address.  Imagine, after paying one full year advance payment, I am told to buy a new connection of Jio so that Jio and its stakeholders can make more money???? And I must forego the entire one year membership of my existing connection??? Thereafter I raised my complaint with the Appellate Tribunal of Jio through email explaining the harassment.  I received an auto generated email stating that within 24 hrs they will revert to me. Believe me, after 55 emails and more than a week, no one from Appelate Tribunal contacted me. Jio is trying heart and soul to push customers to buy new connection to make money and show more subscribers. This is their tactics. Their main goal is to make money from customers. Their is no mechanism to escalate complaint above the Appellate Tribunal who definitely looks to be a paid employee of the Jio group only. I have requested for full refund of all my membership, security deposit and payment made for set top boxes. Now they come back to convince me to buy a new connection for which you have to make advance and immediate payment.  But when it comes to refund customers money, they show 15 to 30 working days to process and that too on prorata basis which excludes the period for which they did not provide the service.
