JIO FIBER CONNECTION PAID IN ADVANCE RS.5306/- CANCELLED ON THE SAME DAY, REFUND THEY ARE NOT GIVING

Text of Complaint by RAMAKRISHNA JANMPANI:

I had taken JIO fiber connection on 4th May 2022 evening 7.30 pm by paying Rs.5306 /- subscription Rs.1499/- plan @3 months = Rs.4497 + GST 18% Rs.809= Total Paid Rs.5306/- paid using phone pay mode , that comes along with modem and all devices free with this plan . Effectively i have paid for 3 months subscription +GST in advance.

4th May 2022 evening , they JIO Fiber people had come and installed device and i had checked picture quality was very poor , the channels they had mentioned and expected not getting in the pack. With in 30 minutes of installation on the same evening i had told the engineers and sales executive to cancel the connection and refund the money back as i am not satisfied with quality , They had tried to convince me by saying that to wait for a day and see the quality , if i dont like still then they have requested to raise return & refund. Based on their request i had waited 4th May 2022 entire evening , since i am not still satisfied, 5th May 2022 morning, i had called JIO fiber customer care and raised request to cancel the connection and process the refund. They had confirmed that they had deactivated connection not to incur any charges for deduction. They had sent me message and told me on call confirming the cancellation and further mentioned within 3 days their staff will come to my home and pick up device and collect my Bank Account details for refund from there within 10 working days money will be refunded. But their people have not come to my home, i had made several calls to customer care, written emails copying to Anuj Jain ( CEO) to come and pick device and process refund, they have been playing with me by keep postponing pick up and refund process, after sending repeated emails , they have been bluffing and dragging time, after repeated emails and indicated that i will go to consumer court, on 13th May 2022 JIO fiber staff come to my home and picked device , at the time of picking device , JIO fiber people told me that no need to take Bank account details , they said money will be refunded to my Bank account that has been linked with phone PAY using that mode i had paid . Then i kept waiting and waited for 10 days ,money has not come to my account, i kept reminding and sending emails calling local executives, emailed to customer care copied to Anuj Jain, no one acted to refund money , after dragging many days till 3rd June 2022, without communicating in between, i have got an email asking my Bank Account details with IFSC code to process refund and they have mentioned that they can not to refund to Phone Pay , which is contradicting from earlier their communication where they had told me that money will be automatically refunded to my Bank through same phone pay channel using which i had paid at the time of taking connection, but they kept dragged many days without processing refund, though i had been checking reminding without informing me voluntarily that they need Bank details or even i have been reminding they have not responded with right mode to refund, where as earlier they did not collected Bank details and said money will be refunded through phone pay, after dragging many days, when i continuously sending reminding with harsh voices, without themselves coming back and saying that Bank account IFSC details required to refund, after dragging many days in response to my severe reminder then on 3rd june 22 they asked me to send Bank account IFSC details to do NEFT , by that time i was under impression that money will refunded through Phone Pay channel and i thought that was under process, but they are very rude, irresponsible, bluffing changing and saying what ever they wanted to say and timely changing of their own with inconsistency from one what is saying from other, each time some new term briging deliberately to dragg time and waste to bluff and delay or not to refund , for that they have been trying , Even After sharing my Bank Account , IFSC details on 3rd June 2022 , till now NEFT has not been done and they kept postponing delaying time, hardly NEFT will take 30 minutes to do and credit in my account. They have been creating lot of stress, deceiving, very cunning and roude, bluffing but not acting to refund till today.

I AM HUMBLY REQUESTING FOR YOUR KIND INTERVENTION TO GET MY REFUND OF RS.5306/- BACK AT THE EARLIEST . I HAVE ALSO PROVIDED BANK ACCOUNT DETAILS ALREADY TO THEM.
