6-7 months ago I requested for Jio Fiber Connection, I got a call from Jio sales team & next day they gave visit to my home, I specifically mentioned that I need Jio Fiber (gives 3TB data) & Not the Air Fiber (1 TB data) as AirFiber gives less Data. Sales representative confirmed that they’ll install Fiber connection(wired) & because of this I paid the fees for 6 months(includes 1000 rs installation charges).
after 2 days Jio team came for installation, & I saw that they are installing AirFiber & Not the JioFiber(Wired connection). On asking why they are installing AirFiber they said our buliding doesnt have JioFiber connection(Wired connection) but i can clearly see the Jio Fiber cable on the building
terrace. I also asked them if I can port to wired connection later without paying installation charges again, & they said that I don’t have to pay installation charges again.
Now when I call customer care & ask for port to wired connection they are saying that, I’ll have to cancel my current connection & get a new connection & i’ll need to pay installation charges for new wired connection.
