My Jeep compass is just one and a half year old and suddenly today (18-8-21) it was not getting started in the morning. I immediately called FCA road side assistance (RSA) toll free number (1800 102 5337) and asked for help. They appear onsite after two hours with some local mechanic guy who has carried low power battery and could not jump start the vehicle. They said we cant do it and just left. I again called RSA and informed the same. They said they have to tow the vehicle and beyond my imagination the tow van came after 4 hours after multiple follow ups. The vehicle was delivered at service center around 5:30 pm (the whole day has gone).
This is about RSA but I cant understand how such a brand model battery is dead within one and a half year?
The response from the dealer (Rupesh Pathak, GM) was as usual, that they have delivered me new car, but I have a doubt that this is a old car which is being delivered to me as this is not only one instance I have faced another problem with this car that my door window panel and switches were stopped working within a 6 months of purchase.
I urge FCA to take proper action against my queries and do needful.
I am thinking filing a case as well against FCA if I dont get proper solution.
