On 22nd November 2021. my laptop suddenly stopped working. The screen went black. It wasn’t turning on/off. I quickly ran to the service center at Nehru Place. They told me it must be some hardware issue and will be done within a week. This happen when I had a lot of workloads. Bad luck, I lost on everything. I did not receive any update from them even after a week. I decided to call them and check the RMA status. The service center never picks up the call. Had to call customer care they told me LCD cable and keyboard were ordered and they have not received them. I couldn’t understand what the keyboard and LCD cable has to do with the issue but decided to wait.
Some days later, they receive the parts but now they had ordered motherboards. What???? Why am i not being told about the issue and why the hell the motherboard needs to be replaced. Nobody seems to have an answer. Around 27 days later, the status shows that it is under repair now and the part has been received. But it still doesn’t show any estimated date.
And today it has been a month. I have called and filed complaints several times, being told that the issue has been escalated and I will receive a callback. But there has been none. The guy at the service center has recognized my number and has blocked it. Tried calling from another number as well. Still, no response as he recognized my voice and blocked that as well.
Once I receive my laptop, never again in my life, I will buy any ASUS product. The most callous behavior ever seen. It would have been better if I got it done from any local repair shop. ASUS sucks.
