I have ordered a DJI Osmo mobile3 Gimbal from Amazon on 23rd August 2021. It was supposed to be delivered on 26th August 2021. Me being an aspirant film maker have planned a shoot of a dance cover perfomed by a friend. We fixed the dates for shoot as 27 and 28 th August considering the delivery date of the product and our convenience.
Today (26-8-2021) we were all set for the video shoot as the order was expected to be delivered today. But the when the delivery boy came there was a big problem. He said the barcode on the package doesn’t match that of my order. Which means the amazon have packed and delivered a false product. They said that there was an error in packing.
Now what this implies is that I will not be able to do my project as planned. Moreover I am forced to rent the equipment for 2 days. Which will cost me around 2500-3000. Another option is to re order and wait for it to deliver. Rescheduling my plan for another date will cause serious time issues for me and my crew.
When I contacted Amazon for help they say that they can’t do anything and if I want the product I must suffer all the loss and re order it.
As a customer I feel betrayed and hurt. This was a project I was considering of high value which is now hanging on the balance because of the irresponsible service by Amazon India.
As a customer I believe I deserve better service from them. I am hurt emotionally and my time and money is going to be wasted because of their mistake. I would like to receive proper compensation and better service from Amazon India.
