Dear court,
My name is Goutham and I am using airtel postpaid mobile number 9885065384, i requested customer service center to activate international roaming to Australia for 4 days from 14-18 of September 2019, I mentioned that it’s a connecting flight and layover time in hongkong will be 4 hours, she replied hongkong comes in same zone so no extra cost will be charged, they said 4days pack is not available space they activated 10days pack of 1499. I compromised and it is activated, service executive told me about outgoing call charges tariff and I restricted my outgoing calls from Australia, they did not mention any cost and tariff about internet access, airtel charged me Rs.13000/- ( THIRTEEN THOUSAND RUPEES) just for a stay of hardly 3 complete days for international mobile usage, I was shocked to see such a huge amount added to my bill and Immediately called airtel to know about this confusion and I raised a complaint about the bill to senior executive, now they barred all my outgoing calls and shutteddown my internet access, I requested to check the conversation recording from the recording sources as they record all the calls for quality and training purpose and I pleaded to hear the conversation they refused and said that airtel has heard the conversation and every information was given to me, I DISAGREED and requested again to send the recording to me and prove but they denied it and they want me to pay Rs.13130 without proving.
I kindly request you to look into this matter and demand airtel to deduct internet access charges while in international roaming as they did not gave me clear information and reactivate all my services as it’s a very huge amount of bill which I cannot afford to pay.
