We were looking for IPL online ticketsand came across the instagram id – ipl_deepanshu_2024 of an unauthorised person selling IPL Tickets called – DEEPANSHU VERMA and TANUSHA. we had asked for Deepanshu’s Photo ID which he shared and because of which we felt the case to be genuine however we were defrauded.
They had promised us to pay 50% of the ticket amount in advance and other 50% on receipt of the ticket. We paid 50% of the amount – Rs 2600 through UPI, in another 15 mins we were told that we’ll also have to pay GST of Rs 3516 which includes security deposit also. We did not agree initially and said we’ll pay GST with the balance 50%, they were continuously telling us that once we pay GST then only they’ll be able to proceed and give us an e-confirmation that we have got the tickets.
after paying the GST amount, we called them 14 times, they didn’t answer then we got a message saying – because of our server issue, we can proceed only after you send us the balance amount. We told them we’ll pay the balance oncce we get the ticket. However they were persistent.
We asked them to REFUND the amount previously transferred by us to them, they said it’s not possible from
their end since they’ve transferred it to somebody else and also shared a screenshot of inadequate fund balance.
