Text of Complaint by Kumar Samarth:

Dear Sir/Ma’am,

We had ordered 1 iPhone 11 on 8 Dec 2020 amounting Rs.58,999/- and phone got delivered on 10th december with Phone and lighting cable and manual in box.
When we opened the phone all looked ok and in good condition but after 2 days when we took selfie with front camera and did video call, the photos and video call was not clear as there was some darkness in the image and dark background while doing video call and then we checked with Apple store in Pune itself and found that there is some issue with camera hence we cancelled the order and asked for return/refund gf on 18th Dec 2020.
Return of iphone 11 was first scheduled on 24th Dec 2020 but at that time the person who had come to pick up the item was started asking about charger ( adaptor) other than phone and lighting cable and we informed him that charger was not provided in the box and also shown him the order details in Amazon app but he informed that He has received the details that phone,lightning cable and charger all has to be picked up and then we immediately called at customer care at Amazon and customer care itself confirmed that charger was not provided and not being provided by Apple now a days and requested us to schedule the next pick up on 26th Dec 2020 and we agreed upon that.
On 26th different person came and again same story started, he also started that charger is also required for successful cancellation and if charger is provided then only he will mark item as picked up. We again called customer care at same time the female person at customer care of Amazon ensures us that she has made a note and send it to the concerned person who is arranging for pick up that only phone and lighting is there and no charger is there in box.
We did mistake in agreeing on Amazon customer care and agreed for next pick up on 28th Dec 2020 and then the same person who was present on 26th dec, came and again same story started about missing charger and more over that person asked us to deliver the phone to him so that he can take that phone to warehouse and talk about the issue or we can go to warehouse and can have direct words with them about the issue and again phone was not picked up ? and
Again the same story repeated with customer care at Amazon and all rubbish apology by Amazon that it will not happen again and this time they have clearly mentioned that charger is not available, ONLY PHONE AND CABLE is to be picked up and rescheduled for 2nd Jan2021, we received message on 1st Jan 2021 that pick up will be done on 2nd Jan 2021 in between 7am to 7 pm,
BUT NO BODY CAME ON 2ND JAN 2021 TO PICK THE PHONE UP and we received message @07:10pm that pick up cancelled and reinitiate the return.

What the hell is happening with us or with you people, are you people out of your mind or do not keep a track on return item request.
You have made us suffer a lot and made us realise that AMAZON is not for high quality products and one should not depend or expect good quality products from Amazon.

If you don’t want the item to be returned by customer then mention that Item can not be returned.
Why the hell you people are making us suffer with this return process and not accepting it at the time of pick up.
You people are only wasting our time as you have already wasted my Rs.58999/- in ordering that phone.

Why can you people not understand that CHARGER was not provided by Amazon and seller APPARIO RETAIL PRIVATE LIMITED.

Customer care does not allow us to talk to higher authority and only reschedule our pick up.
You can yourself track that how many times pick up of iphone 11 was scheduled and not done.
Please find attached screen shot of pick up details and phone details.

I hope for early and easy resolution this time and I hope you people will not waste my time and arrange for last pick up and will arrange for refund of my entire money into my credit card account from where the purchase was made.

This was the mail sent to Amazon level-2, level-3 and level-4 escalation but no reply or call received from them.

We are frustrated now and can’t go anywhere accept you as our money is also at stake and we are chasing with amazon for many days now but nothing coming to any conclusion.

Even today one guy came for pick up of iphone 11  and now this time he didn’t ask for any charger but insisting on sharing my apple ID and password which is technically and logically not correct and at the same time we called to customer care and some Gaurav was from Amazon talked to that guy and confirmed that apple ID and password need not to shared by customer but guy who has come for pick up went away and told that his supervisor will come to collect the item.

This is clearly a case of mental and financial harassment by Amazon and seller.

Kindly look for early resolution and refund of our money.
