I have been deprived of internet service by airtel on my pre-on-post connection for no reason. They took it off all of a sudden, I have written them a lot of mails, and did not get any reply from them. Talked to their customer care service who did not have right information and they had no idea of the problem as well(And have no courtesy to talk to the customer). Then I called the Nodal officer of airtel for Jummu and kashmir, all he did was register a complaint which they never resolved. After repeated attempts of reaching the nodal officer all I got was promises which they never fulfill.
The problem I am facing is actually that I had opted for a year long plan on my pre-on-post airtel connection which was an unlimited pack for one year and some 24 gbs of data. After consumption of this data, I used to renew the data pack with regular data pack. Cutting it short the last one I did was for Rs 251, which included 50 gbs of data and validity same as the current pack which in my case was to end in December. I took this pack on 16th of june, here i would like to add, at that time the i had to do two recharges and the first one i did was unsuccessful and the second one was a success. Later I came to know though my bank service that two deduction have been made. On communicating with airtel the then Nodal officer gave me the assurance that the money is safe and they will use this money to deduct my monthly rental, which roughly is around Rs 10/month.
Now that I knew I have a data pack of 50 gbs and valid till my pack expires which in my case was to end on December 13, 2020. But on 14th of this month my internet service was snapped for a reason which I do not know. Here I am without internet for more than a week now. You can understand the amount of pain one is in, in this age of technology. I have no clue how can a service provider do this to its customer, when they owe them money as well as the service for which one has paid for. I wanted to give them a fair chance to resolve my issue which I think I have.And because of this Corona pandemic I can not visit a story or airtel office to talk to some authority who can help me with. Feeling helpless I am writting to you. So, I request your good self please look into this matter.
