I had requested for new broadband connection from Airtel, on 17th March from airtel website, for a broadband connection – plan chosen : 3 mths, 100 MBPS., for Rs.2829/-
Immediately, in about 10 mins I got a call from Mr. Akshay, mobile no. 9834641268, he requested for my Aadhar Card copy and an online payment of Rs. 2829/-, he said that installation will be done within 1/2 hour of doing payment and subsequently activation, but until 20thMarch nothing was done, when I called up and checked he said sorry, it was a Holi holiday… Ist instance of mis-communication, further to add, after my rigorous following-up he said that I need to pay further Rs 200/- for some electrician services…, to which I’m not comfortable.
On same day, 20th March, I requested him to cancel my Digital Application Form no. 02536254326, and refund my money, I also reached out to customer service no. (020) 44444121, they suggested to write an email to “net@airtel.com” – did that also, but no revert till date… I’m still following-up with Mr. Akshay everyday for cancellation and refund… with no success, and to surprise me further today I have got an automated email from “airtelwork-mailer@airtel.com” to install Airtel Xstream Fiber ID 02534067231.
I want to cancel my broadband connection immediately and get refund of my payment.
