Text of Complaint by Md Abdur Rahman:

I got interested in Airtel broadband service and applied for it through the online AD on various social media platform. I immediately got call from their representative. She confirmed that my area is covered with thier broadband service and discussed about the 40mbps plan that they have. She also said that I could get their dth TV service aligned with this broadband service. She sent a representative the very same day for documentation and billing. He took my Aadhar card details and subscribed for the 40mbps plan. I was charged RS 1768/-. This happen on 17th Sept 2020. I was told that in next 24hrs the installation team would come and help installation. However no one came for next two days. When I followed up and called them. The same lady informed that my area does not have any more broadband feasibility. She said that there are no vacant slot in the box from where they would supply the network. However, she did not say the same thing when she called for the first time. At that time she said that my area has the broadband coverage. When I said that why I was nit told the same thing earlier, she immediately said that she will cancel the subscription and refund the money. she disconnected the call and now there is no one answering on that number when I call it. Its already 4days now since we last spoke, I still do kit have the internet service or the refund. Airtel is a big time fraud company.
