Hello. I got a call through Quikr saying my CV was selected for a data entry work through Hathway Services. A male named Vihaan was guiding me through the registration process and took my details and registered me as a freelancer in their organisation. I was asked to sign an agreement and submit personal information along with identity proof. I was to fill 600 forms in 5 days with 90 percent accuracy. After the first two days I had completed 176 forms but my account was banned due to multiple login / change in ip address. A lady named Ritika from the company called me explaining the procedures of how to compensate the loss that I have caused to their organisation and gave me two options. One to terminate my project and another was activation. The following mail was received by me from the email serviceshathway@gamil.com

This mail is in regards to the problem created from your side knowingly or unknowingly due to which Login I.D of the company is DAMAGED and the SERVER of the company is blocked on which many freelancers are working and earning money. Below are the reasons due to which such a problem is created, which has totally affected the company’s software and database.
You will receive a call shortly from our Technical Team or Legal Team depending upon the loss occurred to the Company due to the mistake done from your side intentionally or unintentionally. They will guide you and explain to you with each and every detail how the problem was created from your end due to which company is suffering from great loss, with legitimate proof.
According to the Information technology Act 2000 (The Act) which came into force on 17-10- 2000. The Act applies to the whole of India and even to persons who commit offences outside India. The Act validates “DIGITAL SIGNATURE” and provides for enabling a person to use it just like the traditional signature. The basic purpose of digital signature is not different from our conventional signature. The purpose therefore is to authenticate the document, to identify the person and to make the contents of the document binding on the person putting a digital signature. Let us see what digital signature is in technical terms. Digital signatures raise the same liability as the regular one for the causes of criminal and cibil matters. So The Hon Supreme saying digital signature or digital signature scheme is a mathematical scheme for demonstrating the authenticity of a digital message or document. A valid digital signature gives a recipient reason to believe that the message was created by a known sender, and that it was not altered in transit. So this digital transition has them authentication as the regular one in the eye of law and you are abiding with the same.
Our Team will give you a call to resolve this issue and it is our request to follow their instructions humbly otherwise you must know that this stamp paper agreement made between you and the company comes under the Indian Contract Act 1872 and SECTION 17 will be imposed on you for doing fraud with the company intentionally. We also want to inform you that I.P.C SECTION 420 will be imposed on you for doing fraud , betraying and breaking rules and regulations of the company.
Below are the reasons due to which such a problem is created, which has totally affected the company’s software and database.
Reason 1: – You might have used 2 Systems like 2 COMPUTER, 2 LAPTOPS,or mobile phone which define as double/multiple system login as also double/multiple ip address and due to which server load was increased and resulted into the software crash.
Reason 2: – You might have not done proper LOGIN AND LOGOUT while working on company’s software because the necessity is, after each LOGIN there should be a LOGOUT but it was not properly done from your side due to which the server detected miscellaneous and server was blocked. This point was restricted to be done in the stamp paper agreement held between you and the company As well as on call verification.
Reason 3: – You might have used different IP Address(consider as system IP if system change, location ip if location change,internet IP if internet change in internet IP ) Internet companies or If you have any kind of internet issue or location issue or electricity issued also cause IP problem ,You might have used Different location (count of 1 room to another also) an double or multiple I.P Addresses have been found which was strictly prohibited in the rules of stamp paper agreement held between you and the company as well as at the time of verification call
Reason 4- You might have not done your work on time or else you have drop in between or incase after signing, you not start your work due to any kind of reason(Health issue,medical issue,major pandemic or any kind of issue as per agreement is is said incomplete submission also you have to take care on daily basis work of minimum 20 -30 forms has been required to the company because server cannot be empty for your id after signing as mentioned in the agreement and verification call to you
Reason 5 :- You might have used Third Party Application to complete company’s work without hard work OR You might have used Third Party Software to destroy or affect a company’s database through Malware Virus.
Abusive Word : Section 66 A shall be imposed for using abusive words with our technical team and legal firm associates and can cause 3 months prison.
Non Payment : An arbitrary and conciliation act of 1996 as per an article 14 shall be imposed on you if you do not solve this case outside the court with our technical team or legal associate you might need to pay the total loss including the expense of advocates, travelling expenses, notary charges, affidavit charges, summons fees, court fees, processing charges, etc to the company. it may cost up to 1,00,000/- to 2,00,000/-
Summon Letter : If you don’t reply on time period it means that you agree and you may be on the fault and as per the notice you are disrespecting the notice and law so as per the court summon letter will be issued it is to notifying a named party that a case involving it and that it must an appearance on the stated date to answer the charges or give evidence.
Failure to obey a summons may result in an issue of arrest warrant and not settling the dispute will land you in mess and we need to proceed this case further for an arbitrary proceedings.

CLAUSE 7 IN AGREEMENT -PROJECT TERMINATION:- Freelancer should do a Proper Login in the panel and then Proper Logout from the panel and there should be always equal number of Login Entries and Logout Entries in panel. Freelancer will get a single id to work on and Freelancer can work on this id. If Company found that there are 2 Logins(Together Login after Login entries simultaneously), 2 Logouts(Together Logout after Logout entries simultaneously), 2 I.P addresses(Double I.P Addresses Entries ) in a single I.D, The Company will not be responsible for the corruption of the data or project or server in both online and offline modules. And your I.D. can get terminated without any intimation and Freelancer compulsory needs to clear compensation for damage to online server or corruption of the data. Company reserves the right to terminate the agreement with immediate effect. )
THIRD PARTY INVOLVEMENT APART FROM CONTRACT SINGING PERSON IS STRICTLY NOT ENTERTAINED IF THEN ALSO INVOLVEMENT OF THIRD PARTY FOUND APART FROM CONTRACT LEGAL PROCESS MAY START, SO KINDLY TAKE CARE FOR THE SAME NO SOLUTION WILL BE PROVIDED AFTER THAT, IT IS TOTAL AGAINST THE CONTRACT
Strict Note :-To Clear Security Deposit for Termination or Activation last time to Resolve is 02:30 pm Any Delay will directly proceed on Legal Process only
