I have been a customer for Airtel since its start in Karnataka (since JTM Network) and I have subscribed international roaming for last 15 years min. Since 6 years, I am based in Singapore and I have kept this phone # live with International roaming facility.
Now, I’m unable to connect on roaming since last Friday 3rd Dec. Unable to latch on to any network in SINGAPORE and usually the network selection is by default to Singtel.
On Sunday, when I gave a call to customer support no., to my surprise, i’m told I have no international roaming pack to my phone #. Having had roaming facility for last 15 years & till 3rd Dec. The agent added a new pack & was told my roaming will get activated in 30 mins. Nothing worked.
I have raised complaint multiple times since then and have given repeated calls to +919910099100 and each time need to explain my concern to a new agent. They come up with elementary solution which is basically trail & error which any one can do. I have tried all possible combination of switch off/on, 3G/4G, Auto/Manual, etc. I am not getting any resolution to my problem. I’m told its been escalated and nothing happens.
Can someone solve this issue or Airtel is incapable of solving such problem??
