Text of Complaint by Venkat Reddy Palla:

My Name is Venkat Reddt Palla, My wife Shilpa Reddy Palla has taken a gold loan from Rupeek, of rupee 4,95,115, the Interest rate of 0.95% per month, for which I need to pay Interest every 30 days if we fail to pay interest in 30 days interest rate will be hiked to second slab I.e to 1.75%. The payment is to be made only through the web Application https://portal.rupeek.com/dashboard
– When I tried to pay on the 28th day (i.e on Aug 15) the application was not working properly, I called them no response as its a holiday.
– I tried on the 16th, Still, I was facing the same issue. I raised a complaint I discussed the same with the Customer support team,I sent Screenshot. I could not able to pay the ineterest. I even mentioned same in call that date is crossing. They replied that can be adjusted as it is their problem.
– On 19th, I could able to log in, but the interest rate jumped. I asked them to adjust the interest and correct it. they were saying you were not following the right process.. even arguing that not entered the OTP. by screenshot of what I sent.
I clearely said the same process What I followed on 15,16,17th.. I followed on 19th
– I got a call from customer care, saying I didn’t complete the third step, he is looking at the option given on the screen which is Ready only, stating not entered that OTP, I have explained many times that I have entered OTP what needed and it is in the Screenshot.. but he is only saying not completed third step.. Even I asked him to give it to his manager he says he is the manager.

Complaints about
– Even issue on their end not lissing to my words, and delaying process every increasing my interest.
– Renewal, the loan period is for 6 months, Customer care following up for renewal from end of 4th month, every renewal has processing charge, if I renewal 4th month I’ll be loosing 2 months processing fee’s. If I renewal mid. renewal start date should be end the previous not from day renewal.
– 30 days interest is tough to calculate or remember the last payment date, some times its 31 days or 28days, it should be monthly fix date.
– Not providing other options to pay the interest need to logning, and two three days before Apps doesn’t work properly. hope this might skip the end date’s which can be possibly to do through application
– If I call, customer care they are not routing to the right person, they are saying will get back.. but we may not be available when they get back, if we don’t take the call they are saying you did not reply its your problem, but I can’t sit and wait for their call.
– Less interest rate – On renewal, they are offering less interest rate, but financially there will not be any difference. less interest and increasing processing fees. Increasing processing fees more, over all loss to customers they are fooling customers.
