On December 31, 2020, I ordered an LG Wall Charger for my LG phone. The charger cost $8.35 with a total cost for the purchase of $17.80. I have a USB charging station where I charge all my electronics and when the new cable came, I plugged it into my charging station.
It worked fine for a while but in the last 3 weeks, the charger has developed a couple of problems that have rendered it completely useless.
- It won’t stay in the phone.. I keeps falling out and it doesn’t charge.
- My phone keeps sending me messages about “slow charging” and that I should use the cable that came with my phone for faster charges. This cable didn’t come with my phone, but it’s an LG designated for use with my particular phone.
I removed the cable from the charger and plugged it directly into the wall, but unfortunately it still didn’t work. My $17.80 cord lasted 73 days. The cord that came with my phone originally lasted 3.5 years.
I have had these kinds of problems before with products that I get from them. Their prices reflect a certain level of quality, which from experience, you do not get.
