Hello Sir/ Madam,
I Sarangapani Setlur travelling from Mumbai to Hyderabad by flight no. INDIGO 6E-461 on 14th March 2023 (Tuesday) , Airline PNR – GTM6WN and Ticket no. GTM6WN/1/1 , was Never allowed to board the flight even though I was at the baggage counter / Baggage drop queue 70 minutes before the departure, i Arrived at the counter roughly around 4.35 AM after waiting in the queue for 20 mins. The woman executive at the baggage drop counter upon checking my e-ticket denied me boarding pass and suggested that I meet the supervisor to discuss possibility of issuance of the same. There were three passengers already at the supervisor’s counter, joined them in the line made to wait again for another 15 minutes, finally when my turn came, to my utter shock and disappointment the woman at the counter instead of being courteous and polite was totally arrogant, judgemental and abusive and showed very little concern instead suggested that I was at fault for not being there 2 hrs before departure. She also accused me of not doing a web check-in which, in fact I did, when I mentioned the same she accused me of lying, even If I did show her proof there was no use since she suggested their system doesn’t reflect my web check-in. After a prolonged argument she suggested I take the next flight by paying extra ₹ 2500. This looks like a deliberate ploy to get customers pay more.
Not only had I had to pay more but also get delayed for my official meeting at Hyderabad failing to attend which doesn’t sit well with my employer.
I request this matter be looked into, and I be compensated accordingly.
