I am writing to address a serious error regarding my loan of Rs. 5000, under loan account number 5023833U, which was paid in full before the due date and closed. Despite this, my Equifax credit report continues to reflect an incorrect delayed payment for January.
I have attempted to reach your team for the past six months, yet I have received no response or action. This lack of accountability is unacceptable and has caused significant harm to my credit score, financial standing, and personal peace of mind.
I demand that you:
1. Immediately correct the inaccurate payment status with Equifax, removing the delayed payment for January and ensuring the correct “Paid on Time” status is reflected.
2. Provide a written confirmation once the correction has been made.
3. Compensate me for the damage caused by this error, including:
The negative impact on my credit score for the last six months.
The time and effort spent repeatedly trying to contact your team.
