I have cult live membership which was expiring on 1st Sep 2021.
There was offer of getting membership of 1 year at 1299/- on 2nd Aug 2021 but I had query that if I purchase it now would the renewed pack start after my current pack will end or will it start on the purchase date. As I still had 1 month subscription left in my current pack I contacted the customer care regarding the query. The customer care of Cult informed me that the new pack purchased will have a starting date from the date of purchase and hence there would be 2 subscription running together. Because of this reason, I dropped my idea of buying the subscription as it would go waste for a month. While going through the FAQs of the pack I found that if a get a new pack with my current pack still running, the start date of new pack will be after the current pack ends. Post that the cost of subscription increased and I contacted the customer care executive of the same. The executive apologised and said that it was an error from our side. I told them to give me the pack at the price I had raised a query on. They said no. It was not possible as the prices are dynamic and they can’t change. I have been keeping an eye on prices from 1sep 2021 till now but the prices haven’t been as low as the day when I raised the query. They are telling to pay the price what ever is shown on page. The error was from there side. Incorrect information given to me led to this issue and I lost a good offer. Request to kindly intervene in the matter. PFA the pic of the chat and FAQs
