Hi,
I was using Jio number +91-8999617667. Due to network issues in the location i was unable to use the service and i had not recharged the sim card since March 6th 2020. On June 1st and 2nd i received notification on my phone stating please recharge your sim card as plan has expired. I was in a doubt whether sim card is active or not (as per regulation if number not used for more than 90days it will be deactivated). Had a chat with the Jio agent-Heema. As per chat agent instruction inserted the sim card in phone and was able to see the network bars (Post troubleshooting). I Informed the agent about network bars. Agent then advised me to proceed with recharge. Post which i still had a doubt hence i recharged only for the amount of 129.00 which will get you 1 month validity. I was waiting for the services to be activated. No service was activated. Tried calling customer care from the same number however got error message as sim card not registered on network. Called them from different Jio number 9980110022 however agent advised that as they are working from home they do not have access to other number. Email sent to care@jio.com however they asked me to register the email address on Jio app and then send an email to them. In order for me to register I should get OTP, no services was active so unable to get OTP. Sent all details such as personal info (Name, 1st email received date, last email received date, aadhar card number, Sim card purchase location etc) then they came stating we are sorry sim card is already deactivated so unable to reactivate it. Asked several times will I get the same number if i get duplicate sim card. No proper response. Finally when i asked for refund due to agent error (Mis-information provided since it was agent duty to check if sim card was active) they care coming up with statement that I said there was network bars so agent advised to recharge. I have uploaded the recent screenshot in which it still gives me network bars. How can it be possible if the sim card is deactivated. Either they should render the service else refund my money. I have sent more than 25 emails to get a manager call back however they are least bothered to call back. calling customer care they deny to transfer the call. received email as well stating that we tried calling number 8999617667 however unable to reach, my question is when they themselves have advised that number is deactivated then how come they tried to reach me out on that number as i had mentioned my alternate number on which they can contact me. Please help me to get my money back under service not rendered.
