Text of Complaint by Parth Gandhi:

I have ordered goods from amazon as a birthday gift to someone. The order was to be delivered on 4th May 2023. I waited the whole day for the delivery but neither the delivery was done nor there was any call from the delivery agent. As I didn’t had any update, I contacted the number provided by amazon to contact the delivery agent. the agent was cancelled the call multiple time. Post this, I contacted the amazon and told them the issue. the solution provided as to wait till 10:00 as it might get delivered. Also, the agent also informed me that she has updated that the product needs to be delivered today. At around 10:00 a receive a notification stating that the product is returned to the seller and the reason stated was “Buyer Refused to accept the delivery.” I contacted Amazon on 4th May 2023 and 5th May but they have provided with the only solution to reorder it. Besides, I have been following up with amazon since morning and they provided with only solution “Please reorder it”. Amazon committed to get it delivered by 4th May and I was who was penalized. Upon explaining the same, the amazon executive after consulting with their senior gave this reply “We would not be able to provide any compensation but as part of gratitude we will provide Rs 50 amazon pay balance.” Was all the torture I faced a joke to them? I request you to kindly help me out with the issue.
