I have been charged Rs 799 rental plus taxes for 40 mbps plan that Airtel degraded for Rs 499 a year back. Airtel kept charging me 799 plus taxes for more than a year without informing me about the rental change that happened. When I raised this concern to the customer care, they first forced me to take Rs 500 waiver and close the case, when I denied to settle it for 500 as my loss is way more and I deserve a better compensation. Secondly airtel started calling me from various numbers and kept telling that the charges are valid and they are not responsible for informing rental change details to customers and customers should check social media for such news. Kundana, Sashidhar are some of the name that I can recall who provided pathetic customer service.
