I paid INR 184057 for my tickets and was refunded only INR 113583. Details as follows. Please help.
I booked a ticket from Bangalore to Toronto and back on 2nd June 2021- booking reference Z7CHT. The travel dates were 21st August 2021 from Bangalore and return on 9th September 2021 to Bangalore. I paid INR 133257 for these tickets. This ticket was booked online and the payment was made from my current account.
Due to the Covid restrictions, flights to Canada were postponed and I then had to change the dates to – travel from Bangalore on 25th September 2021 and return on 3rd October to Bangalore.This reference is E-TICKET NUMBER: 0982135718207. I did not have to make any further payment for these changes.
As the Covid restrictions were further extended, I then had to postpone my travel to December and I did this via. ticket reference LOCATOR/CONTROL NO.: Z6901 DATE/TIME: 04OCT21/0616 SALES AGENT/UPDATE: 2742 /005. TICKETED 2136230143 AI. The dates of travel were – leaving Bangalore on 17th December and returning to Bangalore on 3rd January 2022. For this booking I paid INR 50800. This was paid on the 4th of October 2021 and the payment was made from my Citibank credit card. Payment reference is 51541470566. This booking was done at the Air India office in Bangalore. So as you can see, I have paid a total of INR 184057 (133257 + 50800).
As I was finally unable to travel, I had to cancel these tickets. On the 29th of December, I received a refund of INR 113583 to my current account. I had paid for the seats and insurance and I am not sure whether these have been considered in the refund. Most importantly, I have not received any refund for the amount (INR 50800) I paid by Credit card.
I have contacted customer support more than 10 times. I have sent this on the feedback portal more than 4 times. Till now there has been no resolution. My I request you to kindly help me with this and ensure that the correct refund is made.
