Text of Complaint by Sindhu Sivakumar:

Dear Sirs

My registered mobile is +919845009437. This connection is in the name of Rajanga Sivakumar.

We have two set top boxes, 3012212304-001 and 3012212304-002. Both boxes/TVs have not been working since 3 october 2024. Error code B-001 flashes on both screens.

I have called 121 and raised numerous complaints; however, no engineer was sent home. In desperation, on 11 October 2024, I contacted the area engineer, Mr Ravicandran, directly. His mobile number is +918448195214. He visited my flat on 14 October 2024 and after spending nearly two hours, confirmed that the issue could not be resolved. He asked us to contact customer care/121 and disconnect the set top box-001 and to order a new set top box-002, so that he could thereafter try and get a connection there.

I did so on 15 October 2024. The ticket number for disconnection is 136296037. I was informed on the call that the set top box-1 would be disconnected immediately as I currently do not have access to the registered mobile number – I left it behind on a trip in London and there is no way for me to get it back until I go back, which will not be before Feb 2025.

When I called customer care today, they unfortunately told me that set top box 1 had not been disconnected and that they could not order a new set top box 2 w/o the registered mobile. Accordingly, I asked to disconnect both set top boxes. I understand both these requests are under ticket id 136296037.

Please confirm to me in writing that this has been done. My mobile number is +919731087757.

If I do not hear back within 48 hours, I will be filing a legal case against airtel and seeking disclosure of all the call notes recorded on this matter.
In the meantime, all my legal rights are reserved.
