I availed the services of Tikona Broadband Bangalore around April 2019. Upon the insistence of the local service provider, I took the 3 month plan.
The speed was slow, customer care could easily be reached and service was prompt but I would have to call them every other day to complain about the Internet because there was a new problem everyday.
I gave up on their plan after a month of use. I requested cancellation as soon as the 3 month plan was over. After weeks of hassle and repeated calls for cancellation, they finally agreed.
They’d send mails everyday quoting different amounts I’m being charged. Customer care asked me to ignore it. One day, the Tikona executive came, collected the device and took a sum of money from me.
I was told by the customer care this was the last amount due. After this, a year later I get an email in December asking me to pay around 3000. I ignored the email considering I haven’t heard from this broadband in about a year. January 2020, they began calling me and threatening me.
They started bullying me to pay them money. I get calls from +91 73038 03733 and +91 89297 26858 on a regular basis asking me to come to Delhi high court right now with a lawyer.
When I pointed out that I haven’t received a legal notice, nor can I legally be asked to be present at a court in a different city in a day’s notice, the lawyer began abusing me verbally and threatening me.
I’m feeling unsafe considering these people have my personal details. Kindly help. I’m not the only person facing this. They do this to everyone who disconnects their service. Please take an action against them now.
