I ordered mobile phone from Amazon received soap bars in the box and they refused to accept

Text of Complaint by Dilip Ahluwalia:

Dear Sir/Madam

I am Dilip Ahluwalia r/o 51-A/77, West Punjabi Bagh, New Delhi – 110026. I had ordered a phone (Oneplus Nord CE Lite) on 2nd August online using Amazon. I paid the price I.e. INR 19,999 in full using my American Express Bank Card. The parcel was delivered at my home on 3rd August when I was not there so my home guard collected it on my behalf. I gave the OTP after speaking to the guard. When I opened the parcel the next day when I went to my office, it was found that multiple soap bars were their instead of phone. I then was shocked since something like this has happened to me for the first time so I contacted Amazon customer care team and informed them of the incident. They said they have registered my complaint but refused to give me any complaint number and their representative told me they do not give any reference numbers. After this, I wrote them an email explaining the complete matter. I did not receive any correspondence from them. When I called again I was told they will internally investigate and reach a conclusion by 10th August. So I called them on 11th August to check the status they told me their system is down and cannot update me. I called them again today I.e. on 12th August and they have informed me that according to them the right product is delivered to me. They are absolutely wrong. I doubt their integrity as no one from Amazon contacted me to understand the matter even once how can they investigate without even contacting the grieved party even once. Please help me resolve this issue. I had contacted Amex customer care and raised a dispute on this payment on 3rd August 2023. Amazon has cheated me and now they are not entertaining any request. Their customer care is saying there is no point speaking to any senior in their company as they will give the same response. I request you to intervene and please resolve the matter.
