I would like to file a complaint against Gauri Marriage Bureau. They obtained my contact number from Shaadi.com. An employee named Purva contacted me, claiming they had a match from Akola who was interested in our proposal. After that, she scheduled a call with the mother of the boy for further discussion.
During the conversation, Purva mentioned that if we wanted more details, we would need to pay a service fee of ₹5000. We were not interested in paying this amount. After a few days of continuous calls, Purva then offered to provide the details for just ₹2000, claiming that the person was also registered on their website. Trusting their word, we paid the amount and completed the registration process.
Afterward, Purva provided us with the contact details for the boy, including a mobile number. However, when we tried calling the number, no one answered. We kept calling repeatedly, but still no one picked up. When we checked their website, we found that the person was not even registered on their platform. Now, Purva is no longer answering our calls.
I am requesting an investigation into this matter and appropriate action to be taken against Gauri Marriage Bureau for their fraudulent practices. Purva Mobile No : 9371988207
