  1. We also have a car from this company, they took our money via aire valley motors (now disolved) we purchased this car in good faith and it is a complete mess. It didn’t even have a headlight on delivery, yet past an Mot at sandy Lane garage. Please don’t buy anything from this company! See you in court!

    1. I’ve had the same issue but when I filed my claim hs enterprise and director Mr Ahmed hassan were listed at being at 18 Westcliffe Rd shipley now hs enterprise have changed address according to companies House to a PO. Address Bartle House Oxford Road Manchester m23wq.
Mr qasim is still residing at 18 Westcliffe Rd.
Hs enterprise shipley Ltd are located at
North Holme car park valley Rd Bradford. It has 2 entrances with BD1 4AA & BD1 4AH.
What was the outcome of your claim?

  2. I too bought a Fiat Doblo from this company. The car lasted 2 weeks before the turbo broke, which I suspected was on its way out the first time I drove it and MAF sensor did a bunk. The car wouldn’t pull the skin off a rice pudding. The cost of repairs was greater than the value of the car so I had to write it off. I bought it via Ebay and a video sent by them. Tried to contact them about the problems encounted but no offer. Said they had sent off the V5 online and usually you get a new one within 7 days, but nothing. Don’t go near these people

    2. They’ve done the same to me. No log book and when my car started to have problems I tried to sorn it but it states I can’t sorn as the cars still registered to the last owner. Makes you want to speed through enough speed traps so the company gets the files, seeing as they’re is no proof your the owner

  3. I bought a Hyundai Santa Fe from them. Within an hour of it being delivered I notified them of a knocking sound. A garage identified this as a faulty flywheel and the clutch was slipping. I told them I was refusing the car under the Consumer protection act as was my legal right within 30 days. They have just ignored me and now I will be taking them to court as they are acting illegally.
Do not buy anything from them!! You think you are covered by the law but they aren’t interested at all.

      1. They blocked me completely and I took them through small claims court. The salesman rejected my whole claim so went through mediation at which point we agreed to a £300 settlement which coupled with the money for scrapping the car recouped about half the cost of the car.

Didn’t take it further because I’d spent a lot of time and didn’t have all the documentation to prove everything but they paid me the £300 about a week after.

  4. I too have recently brought a “death trap” off these people and feel totally ripped off. It says it had an MOT just a month before and passed and yet I’ve took it to a garage yesterday and they’ve said it’s unsafe to drive and needs over £700 (and rising) worth of fixes before it can be safely driven again. A new tyre that was also put on is defected and looks like it’s been slashed on the side. Might have to write this car off the way it’s going. Do not buy from these people!!!

  5. HS Enterprise also owns HS Motors which also trades as Forsters of Bradford Ltd ( look it up, company is under active proposal to strike off). Recently bought a car through Forsters of Bradford, described as solid car with nothing required for MOT. Found out the exhaust was blowing and required £1300 worth of work with a further £500 worth of work to get it through the MOT. A week later the exhaust pipe fell off resulting in another £100 repairs. Do not touch these people, absolutely scam artists!! Adverts on Ebay ( avoiding ebay fees), gumtree and RAC webpages. Currently now advertising themselves as HS Motors

  6. Has anyone got anywhere with them? I bought a car two months ago and just been quoted about £2-3K for an engine replacement and apparently a number of other issues – it’s better off being scrapped now but wondering if anyone has got anywhere with them?

    1. They don’t respond. They ignored everything we tried. They ignored the court letter, that said they had to refund us. Eventually the bailiffs got the money back for us. Citizens advice helped with the procedure and a solicitor gave us advice. We went through small claims court.

      2. I have also been mis-sold a car by them and can not get any response from them. I have sent letters which aren’t getting delivered. They’ve obviously made it as hard as possible to find their actual address to bring them to justice. Do we know which address is getting a response?

      3. Hi Elaine, I’m about to send a final letter warning of court action; what address did you get a response from through court action?

    2. Sorry, but it comes to the point where you have to cut your losses with these people. I lost around £900, an expensive lesson. Sadly, they are not the only dodgy dealers.

  7. Seems like a lot of hassle, my car’s getting scrapped on Monday anyway now. I’ll just have to leave reviews and hopefully noone else falls foul of them.

  8. I had a similar experience to those of the above. Within 2 weeks of purchasing a car the Engine Fault light came on and it no longer started. All follow ups completely ignored so had to follow the legal process of recouping the fees via Small Claims Court. I followed the legal process by myself and was sent a cheque (albeit many months later), you just need to cite that ‘ goods were not of satisfactory quality under the Consumer Rights Act 2015’ and go from there. Do not let these horrible people keep your money, fight and get it back.

Footnote: When pursuing via court make sure you sure you petition the following registered address of the business rather than whatever shoddy company the above now operate under:

Ahmed Qasim, 18 Westcliffe Road, Shipley, England, BD18 3EE

  9. Hi Charles,

I’d let things go when I scrapped the car but ultimately I lost £1400 because of the bastard, you’ve inspired me to make a claim haha.

How long did it take you and is it particularly stressful? Never done it before.

    Thanks

  10. Mine is a very similar experience to many. The rear axle was completely rusted through (unbeknown to me), although the car had a recent MOT.
The car spun across 2 lanes of a motorway, before ploughing into the central reservation.
Unbelievably, I didn’t make contact with another vehicle and I walked away unscathed. If I had been collected by another vehicle, it would have been a whole different story.
My ambition now is to get these cowboys shut down, before they get somebody killed.
I’m also going after the MOT Station, as they are clearly corrupt!

    1. If it helps, this guys sort number is
82-61-37, acc number 40398939 under HS Enterprise (Shipley) ltd

Not sure if that helps but sure a solicitor could cause a lot of difficulty if the court request each and every transaction being detailed

  11. Hi Guys,

I am sadly another person who has bought a car from these cowboys for £2500 which lasted 6 weeks before complete engine / turbo failure. Has anyone had any recent dealings with them?

  12. I have had the same bad service. Bought a Fiat 500L in August 2024.
At the time of seeing it I pointed out that the engine warning light was coming on and it was reporting a fault with the stop start.
They advised if I bought it they would have that fixed before delivery.
I received the car and the faults were not showing, a few miles driving later and they were both showing. So nothing had been fixed they just cleared the error codes.
They agreed to me getting a new battery and to pay me back. I got the battery and that did fix the fault and they did pay me for it.
But as for the other fault I advised I would see about getting it fixed and they said ok.
I have now had it fixed which was a oil sensory switch and oil solenoid.
Also in the advert it said two keys. One was the remote and one the none remote key. They showed me at the time of buying. When the car was delivered it had only one key the none remote. I contacted them a number of times and he said he would paste it on. But still not got. So I had to buy a new remote key at a cost of £140.
They should be shut down by trading standards, I am pursuing that action and court action.
Total out of pocket over £350. But they do not reply to any of my messages.
Oh and a month later still not received my log book for the car.

    1. The costs have now escalated to over £1600 as I have had to have the oil pump replaced, timing chain replaced and timing chain guard replaced. As I still kept getting warnings on the dash. The garage took the sump of the car and it was full of bits of metal. Some a cm+ long. It was then found that the timing chain had worn away the metal on the chain guard within the engine. I am still pursuing small claims action. But can’t get any communication with HS motors. If anyone has done this can you advise of the out come and any other help you could advise. This has cost me a lot of money now and I am not going to give up chasing it back

      1. The advert I went from was on ebay. As HS Enterprise. I have now after a year won the court case against them and they owe me over £2000. But looks like they are not trading there anymore. But Still showing as a Ltd company on companies house, so do not know what to do next. Still Very angry and going to keep at getting my money back.

  13. I bought a car from them on the 10th of September, which I had delivered. When it was dropped off the guy said it has been stood a while and the brakes were grinding as a result. I planned to get the brakes done this week before the MOT. They never told me that the drivers window wouldn’t close without pulling it up after opening it, but thought that maybe that was an oversight. Whilst driving down the road today I heard a clunking sound and took it to the garage, only to find that the pads were non existent. The mechanic said he has never seen a disk as thin and it has been metal on metal for way more than three weeks that we have had the car. The clunking noise was the caliper moving up and down as there was no pad for it to hold on to. He also said that he believed that the rear axel was buckled, and the vehicle shouldn’t have been sold in this state. Apparently the garage should not sell a vehicle without a minimum warranty and I would be entitled to a full refund as the car is not fit for purpose. Having just read these reviews I can clearly see they have scammed me too. I’m fortunate that I wasn’t on the motorway when these problems came to light or worse still that my wife wasn’t driving on the motorway as she was last week. I really wish I had found this site and these reviews before buying the car. Please shut these assholes down before they kill someone.
