I booked a broadband connection and the agent gave me wrong information and I was forced to enroll later, but the service was not provided, yet the plan was activated

Having raised a request for the Airtel broadband connection, an agent named Praveen reached out to me and took my location and address to check the feasibility of the connection. In July 2022, I enquired about a broadband connection and confirmed the speed of the Internet (he assured me it would be 30Mbps). Including GST, the actual plan was for 40MBPS worth of around Rs 588, After paying the subscription amount of Rs 3532, the agent refused to provide the connection, The actual speed limit in our locality is 16MBPS, but he took charges for 40MBPS without providing proper assistance, and he refused to provide any information further.
Nobody called me for the installation process, and I didn’t even get a response to my call
My Airtel account was credited today, and the plan was activated with a false active date since I haven’t started using the service and installation hasn’t been completed.
Today I visited the Airtel store to inform them of the incident
Since the Agent made the wrong commitment and cheated me with the wrong information, I missed work for a day, and I waited longer than the standard time Airel quoted me
During the transaction, Praveen, the agent, cheated me with false information and wrong details. Prior to the payment, he was more responsive and active, but once the payment was completed, he was least concerned about my needs.
My right as a consumer is to be compensated the refund for the loss I have suffered, as well as the pain I have felt with the Brand
