My name is Tasneem Ansari, I have been suffering from hair fall & early greying of hair issues. I don’t have any other medical condition, I am physically fit and my only issue is hair fall. I came across an Instagram ad on the social media platform about Dr Batra in June’24. I visited their website and checked about the doctors providing treatment at Dr Batra’s clinic. They have mentioned many great things about themselves on the website like great results in 6 weeks, usage of different technologies for treatment, celebrity tweets on the website, doctors specializing in hair science, and many more big talks that are misleading the people visiting their websites for treatments.
I visited their clinic because I was very stressed about the hair fall and grey hairs and the doctors there assured me that my hair fall and greying would be stopped in a few weeks. They emphasized me to buy a package of 1 year @ Rs.24,000 along with a hair regeneration treatment XOGEN worth Rs. 50,000 approx. I asked them about the monthly treatment instead of a year package so that I could stop the treatment if I didn’t see any progress but they denied it and asked me to buy the package and treatment and again assured me that they had treated lakhs of people and my hair issue will be fixed soon. I was happy and hopeful to hear that and I paid a sum of Rs. 22,000 (after a discount of Rs.2,000) on 2nd June 2024 for yearly treatment. As the months passed by, I saw no progress and told them that there was no recovery, my hair was still falling a lot and greying was also increasing but they assured me again and again that it would stop. As a woman being unmarried, I feel so ashamed and bad about my hair, they are spoiling my personality. I am so depressed because of my hair and have wasted my time with Dr. Batra.
Their doctors don’t even look educated from good colleges, and their personalities and way of treating patients don’t seem to be like international experts. They look like trained salespersons who have been given training on how to manipulate the patients. Dr Batra’s only purpose is to make money from unfair trade practices by selling packages and expensive treatments that are of no use to patients.
I am filing this complaint so that other people should not face what I am facing and I want my money back from them along with compensation. I want compensation of 4 lakh rupees from Dr. Batra. ( Rs. 22,000 for money spent on treatment and Rs. 3,78,000 for wasting my team, harassment, and mental agony.)
