In a freelancer website I came across a typing job. Company name was hyvebooks and they claimed to be based in US. They contacted me through telegram and sent the work need to be done. 70 pages in 7 days. I completed the typing work and sent it to them via email. Then they asked me to submit bank details for my payment.
The total ishues happened by time
Recently i have worked as data entry operater and I received some 7days work at the time june 3rd at 10:48pm and i have completed my after 6 days and i have send confirmation of my work to an email which is provided by them at time june 2ND jULY,2022. And I got successufull work accomplishment of an email confirmation from the hyvebooks platform but till know doesnot received any money EVEN THEY SAYS your payment is pending and you should submit $10 and a copy of your international identity card . His FINANCE MANAGER NAME IS PATRICK WAIL AND MADAM NAME IS PIPER LOFRANO. I request you to plz help i did this work without sleeping cuz i was so depressed there is no job frm the past 5 yrs only my uncle helps me but i did the work in 4 days and they told me to provied 700 dollars aprrox 52500 rs
I’m having the same issue, did the same job for them, now they’re demanding 10 dollars for something I don’t even know, I’m just thinking that they’re scammers all along, we just failed to recognise them right away.
I even finished my work in two days.
The problem is that their website looks so legit and compared to the other companies they only asked $10. Appen asked $300 and Marine ask $300
True. Injust really thought they’re legit but if they’re asking for money guess they are not. ??Sad. I just thought I finnaly got to have my first salary as a freelancer.
Thanks man! I started working for them on July 7th, and already typed 32 out of 70 pages. I was also scared that they may be scammers, so I was checking their website but looked like legit one. But this woman Piper Lofrano made so many mistakes in the task she sent, when you read it sounds like a non-native English speaker’s language. I just texted her on Telegram saying I need prepayment as a security, most probably she won’t even reply back. Also, one thing about their website: 1) apparently the put some imaginary address coz nobody’s gonna check it, but there is no phone number to contact. 2) In contact section, they provide opportunity to send them letter/email, so I did, but no answer. Hope this will help others.
Oh, and by the way, another suspicious thing is that I checked their website’s domain and found out that it was registered only 2 months ago, in May 2022, just recently, and on the Home page they claim that they have been providing services for 2 years. Idk. I just wonder where they took so many realistic pictures of people who they posted as their staff

Definitely, yes. Because I was also tasked to do retyping 70 pages within 7 days and they will pay me $700. They said that within 12 hrs, I will received the payment but I still haven’t received any until now.
You’re not getting a single dollar, they’re confirmed scam! Just watch out, I heard there are others like them.
Apparently, I am also been scammed by them. I have same experience like you. It’s so sad because I expected so much from them. Their website looks so legit and it’s to late that I see this complaint before I pay them $10. Well, lesson learned and do more research before doing anything.
That Patrick Wail, the so-called Finance manager, was so demanding to the point he give me 10 minutes to pay $10. I guess, it is also my fault to ignore my instinct that they are scammer. They are not replying any messages from me as well as my message to that Hannah Stoever.
Hi! I submitted the project few days back but they’re asking me to pay $20 to link my bank account. After seeing your comments, I guess this is completely a scam.
I’m so sorry for that Sofia, for you’re the true victim here.
I backed down immediately they demanded the money, because I know that they won’t ask for a penny if they’re legit.
