I took two loans from Hugo Loan Online App (Smith Lends , Loan No 2209031743360545, amount INR 4500; Fast Loan, Loan No 2209031743381005, Amount INR 4600) and due date for both loans was 08th September 2022.
On 07th September 2022, their customer care executives called from the numbers (8534854301 and 8342019805) and demanded for the loan amount and started threatening me stating that they have my contact details and if i do not pay instantly, they will destroy my social reputation by sending my contacts abusive messages along with my photographs, pan and aadhar card. Then they shared my pan card, aadhar card and other loan documents with me as confirmation.
I was afraid and after sometime i paid the complete loan amounts to UPI Ids shared by them (the UPI id of the Hugo App was non-functional) and shared the screenshots with them.
They further stated demanding another INR 2700/- which I refused to pay. As a consequence they shared abusive messages to a few of my contacts (which includes personal as well as my corporate contacts).
I am furnishing all supportive documents and desperately look forward for the remedy.
